JR'S DONUT CASTLE
This magical place we love to visit each time we're in the state has been in operation since 1969. Adding the JR to the title in the late 70's after JR Parsons purchased the establishment. It's one of our favorite bakeries which excels in donuts but also cakes and various other pastries. Baked fresh each morning, there is nothing better than coming in first thing in the day and choosing your treats. Recipes dating back 50 years are used to this day and it's one of the aspects that keep them unique and above the competition in our eyes. They are open seven days a week to serve you, so take advantage! Most donut shops claim fresh but are far from it or consider half day old donuts fresh.. not here. Fresh is warm, soft and made to order essentially. Plenty of flavors to choose from and if you don't find your favorite, you'll make a new one. Excellent service and priced just right as well.
